Databases available to Associate Members off campus

Associate Members with electronic access privileges may access the databases below from off campus and via the University wireless network when on campus. You need your username and password to log in (see What you need to get started). You may also use the Library's Google Scholar connection, which will enable you to retrieve articles from databases in this list.

Indexing and full text for academic journals, magazines and newspapers from arts and the humanities to social sciences, science and technology. It incorporates many interdisciplinary journals, news magazines and The New York Times (indexing only). Previously known as Expanded Academic.

Academic Search Alumni Edition
EBSCOhost database providing full text for more than 3,000 journals and magazines and indexing and abstracting for more than 8,200 titles.

Accounting & Tax
Index and abstracts of 2,000 publications in accounting, auditing and financial management. Over 200 of these available in full text.

Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre
A full-text collection from EBSCO Publishing, combining content from Australian, New Zealand and overseas magazines, newspapers, newswires, reference books and company information.

Biography in Context
More than 1.4 million biographies from over 100 Gale Group reference publications.

Britannica Image Quest
Over two million images that have been rights-cleared for non-commercial educational use.

Business Source Alumni Edition
EBSCOhost database providing over 1,400 full-text business magazines and journals, of which more than 700 are peer-reviewed. Includes publications in nearly every area of business including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance, econometrics and economics.

Encyclopædia Britannica Online
The complete Encyclopædia Britannica, Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Thesaurus, Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Quotations, Encyclopædia Britannica World Atlas and a directory of websites selected, rated and reviewed by Britannica editors.

Grove Art Online
The dictionary of art (1996) with constant additions of new material and updates to the text, plus extensive image links.

Health & Medical Complete
More than 1,500 titles, with over 1,300 in full text. Over 900 key MEDLINE titles cover all medical specialties, while many additional titles provide information for the non-specialist.
