A numeric estimate of the television viewing audience collected from a representative sample of households. AGB Nielsen Media Research television ratings represent the industry currency for television audience measurement (TAM) in New Zealand. A fully national PeopleMeter panel of 500 households are surveyed, this equates to approximately 1200 people 5 years and over.
