A 100 million word, 2000 document keyword-searchable collection of 1990s British language. Around 800 of the documents are spoken texts. Each word has been tagged with SGML code for its part of speech. Go to Part-of-speech codes in the Help index to see a full list of codes.
A simple search is available from the BNC homepage. This search gives frequencies and up to 50 examples.
