Tāmaki Library and Information Commons

Te Herenga o te Wāhanga o Tāmaki

Library and information commons services for Tāmaki staff and students are integrated in an attractive and innovative environment to support research, teaching and learning.

About the Library and Information Commons

The Tāmaki Campus Library was established in 1991, located in the former medical centre for the 1990 Commonwealth Games Village. In 2011, the Library and the Tāmaki Information Commons service moved to a new integrated facility in the former Population Health building.

Resources in the Library are provided for the major disciplinary themes of public health and exercise sciences. See Collections for more information on the resources of the Tāmaki Library.

An Information Commons, which also services as a teaching space, is located inside the Tāmaki Library. The Library and Information Commons facility provides individual and shared study areas, computers and borrowable laptops.
