You must be logged on with NetID and Password to access these databases. ABELL+FT - Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature - retrieves bibliographic references to books, book chapters and journal articles. Some journal articles are full text. Where full text is unavailable, use the MLA International Bibliography - retrieves bibliographic references to books, book chapters, and journal articles. It has a higher proportion of book chapters than ABELL+FT. Use the Literature Online
- all the authors studied on this course are represented in Literature Online. Type an author's name in the QUICK SEARCH to retrieve a summary of all the material available within the database. You may find primary material [texts], secondary material [criticism, some of which will be full text], reference sources [full text], and web sites. This type of search is intended to give an overview of a writer's work and the commentary around it, and may retrieve large results.
