Assignment
An optional one hour tutorial is being offered for all 321 students
specifically to help with the Essay Assignment. The tutorial will show you
how to carry out a literature search the easy way using a variety of literature
sources.
- The essay assignment requires you to conduct research using Library
databases, electronic journals, print journals, electronic books and print
books to find peer reviewed literature relevant to your essay topic - this
is called a Literature Search. [Primary,
Review and Popular Journals, what are the differences?]
- The tutorial will show you how to search the databases Review
of Plant Pathology and Scopus and use electronic journals. Please choose your essay topic so
that you have something to work with during the tutorial.
Before attending a tutorial you should:
- Sign
up for the time that suits you best, times and sign-up procedures below.
- Be familiar with the content on this Course Resources page, you only need
to spend five minutes quickly scrolling through what is available.
