Aims

To support, facilitate and enhance the research, study and teaching activities of the graduate students, academic staff and researchers.

The following services are available for staff, graduates and PhD students:

  • Research Consultation
    • Designing a search strategy for your thesis/essay /literature review topic 
    • Using the electronic resources available through the Library 
    • Managing your citations and bibliography 
    • One-on-one training with new resources applicable to your area of research 
  • Current Awareness
    • Setting up Autoalerts : the results from personally tailored database searches e.g. from PsycINFO will be-mailed to you at regular intervals
  • Lecture presentations/Database tutorials

  • Lecture presentations or hand-on tutorials on library resources can be arranged in advance for your class.  The Library also runs regular tutorials on specific databases.
