This guide to Marine Science theses is in
numerical Dewey sequence and lists BSc Hons,
Masters and
Doctoral theses completed by University of Auckland (UoA) students,
primarily from studies conducted at the Leigh Marine
Laboratory. Theses are listed in the order that they were catalogued by the library, which may be considerably later than their submission dates. The list includes a number of UoA chemistry theses that have evaluated the bioactivity of organic marine compounds. The
colour key is a guide for quick
reference. Note that in addition to non-biological research, the green 'Other' category includes general ecological studies or studies of multiple taxa, as well as studies of individual taxon that fall outside the other categories. Click on the hyperlinked title of each thesis to
check its availability within the catalogue.
For further bibliographic details or for
specific thesis searches, consult the library catalogue which you can search using a
combination of different parameters (author, title, keyword,
year etc) or from the
Theses
and Dissertations link.
