Services to the General Public

Members of the general public are welcome to browse the Engineering Library's books and serials. Although borrowing is not permitted, visitors may use the photocopying facilities .

Although the general public are free to consult Voyager, our online catalogue, licensing restrictions limit the use of networked databases to staff and students only.

Due to staffing and funding limitations, the Library is able to offer only very limited services to readers other than the University's staff and students.

Application can be made to become an Associate Member .

Going away? Changing address?

All changes to your MAILING and EMAIL addresses can be done by yourself on Student Services Online - or alternatively fill out the Change of Email and Change of Address Forms at the front desk and hand them in to the Librarian.

This is especially important because the library may need to recall material from you. If you haven't changed your details, fines on recalled or overdue material will accumulate rapidly!

If you are going away, please return all material you have borrowed, in case other readers require it.
