When you know the exact details of a specific article
- Go to the University of Auckland Library
website.
- Click on
Library Search - The
Catalogue.
- Search by the title of the journal,
then click on Locations to check the library holdings.
- The record will indicate if the journal is held in
print or electronically.
- Check that the Library has the year/volume/issue in which the article you want was published.
When the journal is available electronically
- Click on View online, and fill in the details of
the year, volume, issue and start page of the article required to open the article on your screen.
If the journal is only available in print
Place requests for each article individually through the Library Catalogue, following the steps below. Copies are supplied in accordance with copyright restrictions (No more than one article per journal issue, or two articles if on the same topic). We cannot accept emailed or telephoned requests for resources, and you must be registered to receive flexible services. View instructions on
how to register.
- Click on Request.
- Log in with NetID and Password if prompted.
- Select Specify an issue , and provide
all details about the article, including the year, volume number, issue number (if available),
the title and author of the article, and the pages if known.
- Always select Flexible - Education
as your pick-up location, and put your preferred email address in the
Comment box.
- Click on Submit.
- The item will be scanned and sent to you by email attachment.
