Welcome to your Short Course at the University of Auckland Business School !

There are two computers situated in the area outside the Business Information Centre that are available for general use. Your instructor can assist with a logon and password for these terminals.

  • Business subject guides and topic guides, have been developed by the business librarians. They list further resources in a range of business topics. You may not have access to all listed resources, such as the Library databases.

  • Anyone can visit the University Library and access print material held within the libraries. To search for print books and journals use the Library catalogue, Library search. Details of library, location and availability are given through the catalogue.

 

To find further information on your Short Course subject:

  • You can purchase a photocopy card from Level 2, Kate Edger Information Commons. See Copying for Members of the Public. You can add credit to your card in Room 014, Level 0, Owen G Glenn Building.


  • Graduates of the University of Auckland can become alumni members of the University Library. This gives access rights to the Library's electronic resources. See the Business School Alumni guide for details.


  • Other graduates can apply to the Library for Associate Membership, to obtain access to print collections and some electronic resources. You must be a graduate of a New Zealand university to be eligible for Associate Membership.

  • Open Access Information - a useful guide to finding freely available quality information online.

  • Public libraries often provide online database access. See each library for details of online resources.
