Videos and DVDs CDRoms
  • The CDRom Collection is housed in the General Library. 
  • All Videos and DVDs available from the Short Loan Collection are borrowable for 7 days.
  • To borrow CDRoms obtain the call number (from the list below), then ask at the Lending Desk, Level 1, General Library.
  • CDRoms are borrowable for 60 days, and most tend to accompany a prescribed text book and contain supplementary material, diagrams etc.
  • Videos from the Audio Visual Library are only borrowable for two hours, and can not be taken out of the library.  TVs, Videos and DVD players are available in the Audio Visual Library for viewing videos.  Group viewing rooms are also available.
  • Some CDRoms are available to be used online and do not require you to "borrow" them from the library.  Links are provided where this is the case
  • Click title link below to obtain the more information including format (i.e.Video, DVD or CDRom), content, location and call number.

  • Screening a Video or DVD during a lecture is not considered a public screening so it is permissible to screen any of these Videos or DVDs during lecture time.

To find more videos on other topics:

  1. Use Voyager the library catalogue

  2. Click on the Choose Limits button

  3. In the Medium drop down box select Videorecording

  4. Click on the Set Limits button, to apply this limit to any searches you do

  5. Select the Keyword Relevance search and enter in a keyword or term to find videos on that topic.

  6. Remember to remove your limit if you want to do other searches by clicking on the Remove Limits button
