Subject Guides: Biological Sciences

Years 1962-1988 | Years 1990-2009

This guide to entomology theses is in numerical Dewey sequence and lists entomology BSc Hons, MSc and PhD theses completed by University of Auckland students from 1962 onwards. The date of the thesis is the year in which it was catalogued, which may differ from the year of completion. The letter following the year indicates the level of research: b = BSc Hons,   m = Masters,   p = Doctoral

Please note that the list is not exhaustive. For a more complete list of all theses presented at the University and further bibliographic details, you need to consult the library’s Voyager catalogue which you can search using a combination of different parameters (author, title, keyword, year etc), or the Theses and Dissertations link. Likewise the colour key in the list is intended only as a guide for quick reference.

The call numbers listed in the first column are preceded by the word ‘thesis’ followed by a space. For example, the call number of the thesis by M. C. Morris would be as follows: thesis 90-212. For call numbers beginning with 'R' the number is preceded by the words 'RESEARCH ESSAY'
