If someone else has reserved the book, you will not be able to renew it.

RESERVES

If the book you want is on loan you can recall it yourself using Voyager. If you would like help in placing a recall bring the book's details and your ID card to the desk and ask.

Placing a reserve if the book is not charged
If Voyager indicates that the book or serial is not charged but you are unable to find it on the shelf make sure it is not in any of the following locations:

  • the Short Loan Collection
  • Large book shelves (Voyager will indicate "Large book (q) or (f)")
  • Reference Collection (shelved next to the Voyager workstations at the front of the Library)

If it is not to be found in any of these, ask at the desk for a manual reserve card.
Complete all particulars: your name, FULL 14 digit ID number, author, title and call number. If it is a serial include volume and issue number and year.

  • Books are held for you for 5 days.
  • Please let a Library staff member know if you no longer require the book or serial.
