Search Tips
Title
- Enter all or first part of title, starting with the first word.
However, if the title begins with a, an, the, te*, nga*, le, der ... leave it out:
wind in the willows (leave out the as the first word)
journal of accountancy (leave out the as the first word)
morehu (leave out nga as the first word)
*Except for names and placenames, e.g.:
Te Rauparaha
Te Awamutu
Nga Tamatoa
Author
- For people enter the family (last) name first: dickens c
For organisations, enter the first few words of the name: organisation for economic
Department must be abbreviated to dept: new zealand dept of conservation
Keyword Anywhere
- Use ? to truncate: nation? will search for nation, nations, national etc
