Understanding your reading list

A reading list may also be called a bibliography. Each item on a reading list/bibliography is a citation.

A citation is made up of components that describe the item, e.g author, title, publisher. These enable you to identify the type of item, e.g. book, chapter in a book, journal article, webpage etc. Understanding the components and the type of item is they key to finding the item in the Library.

The Catalogue (Library Search) lists all the resources that the library holds, both physical items and electronic resources. Use the Catalogue to see if this library holds the resource.
