Inventory of Projects |
The University Library has a number of projects that are ongoing or under investigation. Full details about these projects are available in the Digital Initiatives Database. Ongoing projects have also been entered into the NZ Register of Digitisation Intitiatives. Digitisation Centre |
The Digitisation Centre is located in the General Library and was set up in November 2003 as a workspace for project staff. Library staff by arrangement with the Digital Services Department may also use pc's, scanners, digital camera's, and CD Burner's. An overhead openbook scanner (Minolta PS7000) suitable for archival material is also available for staff use in the Special Collections Department. |
Digitisation Resources |
This is a brief overview of useful resources aimed at helping other University Departments and Libraries who are thinking about Digitisation. Much of this information is duplicated and expanded on the NZ National Digital Forum Website (of which Rose Holley is a content editor) http://ndf.natlib.govt.nz/index.htm
